I live in a house with two humans.

Ok... Apologies are in order again; yes, after my failed attempt at a blog return, I need to say I'm sorry dear readers. Hopefully some of you are still around. Finally, today I decided it was time for an update but not a fashion one. Let's go for the "About Us" category.

About Coco; one of the reasons I have been camera shy lately is that I have had the hardest time keeping a balance between work and eating healthy and exercising, resulting in a fast and large weight gain! This is no excuse for putting fashion aside but I must admit that my wardrobe had suffered. I have recently come to terms with the new weight gain and decided to rebuild a new "larger" wardrobe. Hopefully soon I will be able to share some of my new favorites outfits in a new chubby but happy Coco's body! One of the joys of growing older has been to be able to accept myself in all shapes and especially for feeling confident at any weight! Ouf! I can't believe I am finally able to say that, I almost have tears to my eyes; happy tears of course!

About Django; one of the reasons Django hasn't had so much time to take out the camera is that he was very busy making one of Coco's biggest dreams come true. For a long time, Coco has been pleading for a little dog. There was many tears, sad tears of course and much "please...please...please". Until one day Django found the perfect match for Coco and him. Wanting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for so, so long and Wanting a Chihuahua for so, so long, it was difficult to choose a doggy, we didn't want to compromise on one, didn't want to compromise on the other.

About Pepper: Pepper came into our life 2 months ago, her daddy being a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, her mama being a Chihuahua, she was the cutest thing we had ever seen! We must say not only did we choose her at 8 weeks old, she also choose us. Her breeder said she was the most introverted of the pack, but as soon as Django and I walked in the door, she pushed all the other puppies aside and made sure to let us know that she was the one. To our surprise, after only 2 weeks home, our little timid puppy had already blossomed into a real Alpha Dog and oh, does she ever deserve her own little Oscar Award, as her little eyebrows of "fake" sadness in order to panhandle treats will surely win her the "Best Actress" every time. In the interim, her consolation prizes: favorite chew sticks and Three Dog Bakery Peanut Butter or Daisy cookies.

The. Cutest. Dog. Ever. Period.

I hope you both will post pictures again. Don't worry about fluctuating weight--you are a lovely person and so chic. Some of the very best bloggers are not model thin and I think though there's nothing wrong with being thin, it's nice to have a variety of sizes, heights, etc.

she is sooooo cute!!! I cant believe it!
And seriously don't worry about this weight gain thing. I'm sure you havent put that much weight on and I have recently put on a few pounds myself since being with my boyfriend for a year. I used to starve myself to be slimmer before and now I'm just happy and eating cake! haha We love your blog for your blog not that you think you might looks different in outfits, and Im sure you'll still look amazing!
Hoping to see a fashion post soon ;)

So glad you're back. I've been checking regularly.

You are so lovely, and I don't see a few pounds changing that. You were radiant in the photos you shared from before you're weight loss, and I can't the case being any different now.

And, to be honest, and a little selfish, I'd be thrilled to see a girl I can relate to, with curves (or as I say, packing heat front and back) representing the kind of irrepressible style you've always exhibited.

You're dog is pretty damn cute too.

this little cutie brings tears to my eyes. I bet Pepper is filling your lives with so much and that unbelievable that you managed to get both a king charles cavalier and a chihuahua in one! brilliant :-)

I am over the moon about your new bundle (awwww). Weight loss and gain is tough, I ride my bike a lot if you ever want to come out and also have a very good yoga studio if you want to meet for a class. :-) Or if not that we should meet up again soon anyways.

Your new puppy is so cute! I know how you feel about the weight gain. It's a tough struggle for many of us and yet it is possible to be beautiful no matter the size.
