Boyfriend's Closet meets Coco

After a disastrous attempt at a daily outfit photoshoot on Friday morning, I decided to take advantage of this wonderful sunny day and make use of my best skills to make today a success! I'm very happy with the results! Inspiration came of the "a la mode" wave of tomboy posts from some of our best fashion bloggers. I have particularly been head over heels for the Lulu Letty version that reminds me of the finest, back in the day Calvin Klein!

After rambling through the closet and picking a white button shirt and a boy sweater. It appears that I might be able to get a hold of this look. Okay... so maybe my Coco adaptation has still too much of a girlie vibe, but I like the contrasting mix. All in all, I felt a 1940s ambiance, which I will take any day!

adorable once again! i love the fact that tomboy is in, you found some great pieces in Django's closet. That cardigan is extra special, i can see why he loves it. i think the ribbon really completes the look, makes me think of that scene in "Coco Before Chanel" where she snips her bow short.

This is a gorgeous outfit! The hat and cardi are unexpected with the crisp black and white but you pull it off SO easy!!!

Your menswear inspired outfit is just wonderful! I love the ribbon and the matching trim on the hat. Both you and Maria have inspired me to do something with my one thousand white button up shirts that are now beyond wrinkled from storage!
