American musician Joanna Newsom is one talented individual: Singer, Songwriter, Harpist, Pianist. She has a new album coming out in the few weeks titled "Have One On Me" that we can't wait to hear. The album is a whopping 3 discs/records long! and a sample track released from the album showcases some Joni Mitchell-esque vibes and flourishes. She has surprised us this past year with her new bombshell fashionista look and now with her new musical direction; sounds very good to us. Oh, plus that cover art has to be one of my favorites in recent memory. You can preorder the disc right now via the drag city records website.

I absolutely love her music and her style. For some reason I didn't get into Ys so much, but what I've heard off the latest is incredible.
She kind of reminds me of Fiona Apple. I love her look and style.
Um, holy crap. I ADORE Joanna Newsom. Adore. her. I'm about as un-musical as it gets, but she makes me want to take up the harp.

Oh yesss I absolutely love her, she's so stunning!! I think Ys and Milk-Eyed Mender are both fantastic records in their own ways, but what I've heard from this new album just gets me thrilled ot hear it. Can't wait!!!!
Yay for Joanna Newsom! She's such a breath of fresh air and I appreciate all of her slant rhymes in her songs!
I'm a little surprised by the 'bombshell' pictures if only because she was rocking the wood-elf-nymphf-fairy only a few years ago!

Oh my, I love her! Sometimes I think I'm the only person in Spain that listen to her music, but anyway, I love her! She's got one of the most sweetest and at the same time particular voices I've ever heard!
