In a land far far away...

There is one thing I will never doubt: my favorite Vancouver house. I've named the peculiar cottage "Witch House". Every time I'm near and about to drive in front, I'm overexcited and will hold a conversation about the "Witch House" for possibly the next 45 minutes. This summer I have made a incredible discovery. Someone somewhere must have shared the same love for this mysterious house, as they decided to transformed/restaure a plain 1940s bungalow into "Witch House#2". We learned that the roof transformation alone cost over 200k$. Can you imagine? At the moment the house is uninhabited, so it gave me the chance to snap a couple close up photos before a multimillionaire Snow White moves in. What a future lucky lady...

Oh, that house truly is out of a fairy tale! When I lived in Seattle, there were two houses I really wanted to take pictures in front of but never worked up the courage. So beautiful!

And I love the black/slate combination! Perfect for winter and that lovely cottage.

I lived in Vancouver for 10 years and my hubby and I LOVE that house (though he's a house insurance claims bloke, so he had a feeling that house was a money pit). Still, it's always been my Snow White cottage, too...you've re-enchanted it in those wonderful pics!
