Serge Gainsbourg, I admire for his music, his look, and his colorful personality. It seems well timed since I am looking forward to seeing the upcoming french movie inspired by his life, "Serge Gainsbourg: Vie Heroique", written and directed by graphic novelist Joann Sfar. The movie looks quite good and the actors seem well chosen (our condolences to family and friends of Lucy Gordon). Before I let you on your way, below is a clip from a old french movie staring Serge Gainsbourg and Anna Karina (Coco has a major crush on her eyeglasses!). It's a cute little jam that I've had on repeat as of late. Enjoy!

I love Serge! Especially his Melody Nelson concept album, even if it was a touch creepy but I like creepy old men with a dapper touch making concept albums with beautiful Jane Birkin.

Monsieur Gainsbourg is one of my favourite male singers (with Bowie and Leonar Cohen); his personal voice, his lyrics, his sensibility... his perfection!
Django! So nice of you to provide this clip! I really wish I spoke french. subtitles are fine, but you miss so much of the visual beauty when you try to read while you watch French films. I have a few Serge Gainsbourg CDs that I love to just have on. Great post! Thank you so much!
